Frequently Asked Questions

How do I burn my candle?

  • Candle safety is very important!  Here are the main safety guidelines:

  • Trim the candle wick to 1/4” before lighting.

  • Always burn within sight - do not leave unattended.

  • Keep away from pets, children and any flammable materials.

  • Every time you light a candle let it burn until the entire top is covered in a pool of wax. This will help the candle burn evenly and cleanly and will maximize the life of your candle..

  • Once your candle has a full melt pool across it is time to extinguish the candle. It is not recommend to burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.

  • Use a candle snuffer to extinguish candles. It’s the best way to prevent hot wax from splattering and it maintains the integrity of the wick.

  • If glass jar becomes cracked or chipped discontinue the use of the candle.

What is that frosty like appearance on the top of my candle?

You may notice "frosted" white patches or slight discoloration on your soy wax products.  This is not a defect and is a natural characteristic of soy wax. Some fragrances are more likely to exhibit this characteristic than others but it will not affect the burning of the candle or the melting of the wax melts.

I do not like the smell of a MyAromas2Go product I ordered, can I return it?

We want you to be happy with your purchase but the sense of smell is very subjective.  We strive to give an accurate description of what to expect with each fragrance. We do not accept returns or exchanges for not liking the fragrance.  If you are unsure if you will like a particular fragrance we recommend ordering an aroma shot (wax melt) to see if you like it before ordering a more expensive product.  Should you find that one of our scents is not to your liking, please keep in mind our products do make great gifts!

My product arrived damaged.  Will you exchange it?

Yes.  Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if you have an issue with your order. We will gladly address any problems relating to manufacture of candle or breakages in transit.   We do ask that you please provide a photograph of the damaged product as well as the packaging so that we may file a shipping claim with our carriers.

Do you ship your products in the the summer?

Our North Carolina summers can get pretty hot just like many other parts of the United States.  Soy wax melts at lower temperatures than some other types of wax, so during summer months we only ship our wax products out on Monday.  This helps ensure the products are not sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend. It is the buyers responsibility to check their tracking number to ensure their product does not sit in a hot mailbox or on a sunny porch for an extended period of time.

Do you accept wholesale / private label orders?

We proudly hand pour our candles in small batches but even so, we can fulfill wholesale orders to a certain degree.  If you desire to make a wholesale order of our products please feel free to email us with what items you would like to be able to purchase wholesale as well as the quantity you are interested in and we will respond as soon as possible with a quote and time frame when we can make your order possible.  We are also able to work with wholesale customers to create private label products with your own branding.  If you desire to have private label products made for your business please contact us via email to schedule a consultation.
